Description
A Southbend double-deck electric infrared broiler with 24 kW, for high-volume steak service without gas.
The Southbend E-270 is a double-deck electric infrared broiler for steakhouses, hotels and high-volume grills. Ceramic infrared elements draw 24 kW and preheat in about 30 minutes, with no waiting between loads. It runs on 208V or 240V, single or three phase, so kitchens without gas can still broil steaks. Each deck has a 24-1/2" x 28" roll-out grid with five height positions; the front 3" stays cooler for holding finished food.
