Vulcan 36RB-P 36" Gas Radiant Salamander Broiler, 50,000 BTU, 6 Burners, Propane
A 36" radiant salamander for fast finishing and browning above the range line.
The Vulcan 36RB-P is a 36" heavy duty gas salamander broiler set up for propane. Six 8,300 BTU/hr cast iron burners with stainless steel radiants put out 50,000 BTU/hr in total, and dual heat controls give you two zones from 250°F to 800°F at the rack. A cool-to-the-touch lever moves the broiling carriage to six positions. Mount it on a range back riser, on the wall or on the counter with the matching Vulcan kit, sold separately.
Mounting needs the correct reinforced riser or reinforced shelf, wall brackets or 4" legs; order the one you need with the broiler.
Two heat controls let you run a hotter and a cooler side, with Vulcan's rated range of 250°F to 800°F at the rack.

A cool-to-the-touch knob on the lever sets the broiling carriage in one of six positions.
The heavy-duty chrome plated grid is 27-1/2" W x 13" D, over a removable full-width spillage pan.
Stainless steel front, top and sides wipe down at the end of the shift.
The 36RB-P is the propane version. The matching 36RB-N is the natural gas model.
Vulcan offers a stainless steel reinforced back riser for range mounting, a set of wall mount brackets, and a set of 4" legs with adjustable feet for counter use. One of them is needed to install the broiler.
A 3/4" top gas connection. A pressure regulator sized for the unit is included, set for 10.0" W.C..
From combustible construction: 0" rear, 6" sides and 4" bottom. From non-combustible construction: 0".
Vulcan's installation notes say an adequate ventilation system is required for commercial cooking equipment, per NFPA No. 96.
Vulcan lists a one year parts and labor warranty on the spec sheet.
