A 36" ceramic radiant upright broiler that sears steaks and chops at high volume.
The Vulcan VBB1SF is a 36" heavy duty gas upright broiler with three 35,000 BTU/hr ceramic radiant burners over a 25" x 25" grid, a finishing oven on top and a standard oven base: 50,000 BTU/hr, 27" W x 27" D x 13" H, thermostat 150°F to 550°F. Two infinite heat controls and a spring-balanced five-position grid set the heat for each cut. Total input is 150,000 BTU/hr on natural gas or propane.
Measure doorways: the smallest outside dimension is the 36" width; depth grows to 59-5/8" with the drawer fully extended.
Three 35,000 BTU/hr ceramic radiant burners deliver searing heat for steaks, chops and fish.
A spring-balanced 25" x 25" grid of cold rolled steel bars raises and lowers to five positions and marks the meat.
A finishing oven above the broiler keeps plates warm and finishes items before they go out.
Standard oven base: 50,000 BTU/hr, 27" W x 27" D x 13" H, thermostat 150°F to 550°F.
A full-width floating stainless steel drip pan collects grease under the grid.

No. A properly sized regulator must be furnished and installed; Vulcan offers 3/4", 1" and 1-1/4" regulators as accessories. Pressure is 6.0" W.C. natural or 10.0" W.C. propane.

The grid is 25" W x 25" D (625 sq. in.) of cold rolled steel bars and moves to five positions on a spring-balanced carriage.
The standard oven thermostat adjusts from 150°F to 550°F. A 650°F thermostat with steel hearth is a factory option.
