- Installation matters: Blodgett's manuals warn that wrong installation, missing clearances or poor water quality can void the oven warranty. Combi ovens need treated water to the sheet's specification.
- Extended warranty packages are listed as options on several sheets. Ask us before you order if you want one.

Who makes Blodgett ovens?
Blodgett is an oven maker in Essex Junction, Vermont (42 Allen Martin Drive), and part of the Middleby family of brands. According to Blodgett, the company dates to 1848, when a local Vermont tavern needed an oven, and it has built ovens in Vermont ever since.
Today the line covers convection ovens (Zephaire, DFG, Mark V, CTB), Hydrovection and ImVection ovens, Invoq, BX and BLCT combis, 900 series deck ovens, pizza ovens and the XR8 rack oven. The Sveba Dahlen P601HT and P602HT pizza ovens are made by Sveba Dahlen AB and distributed in North America by Blodgett.

ENERGY STAR and ventless Blodgett ovens
On October 28, 2026 the ENERGY STAR commercial ovens dataset listed 25 Blodgett models: 16 combination ovens (Invoq and BLCT-6E) and 9 convection ovens, including the Zephaire 100 E and 200 E, Zephaire-200-G-ES, DFG-100-ES, HV-100E, HV-100G and CTB models. Blodgett notes that not every qualified model is listed as a separate row.
For kitchens without a hood, Blodgett sells ventless ovens: the BLCT-6E-H and BLCT-10E-H mini combis with the Hoodini hood, Invoq Hoodini models and the ImVection ovens. The ImVection spec sheet states UL (KNLZ) listing for ventless operation. Local code still decides, so check with your inspector.

Which Blodgett convection oven should you buy?
- Zephaire: the lowest price per oven and the usual choice for restaurants and schools. 2 years parts and labor.
- DFG (gas) or Mark V (electric): Blodgett's premium full-size ovens, with 3 years parts, 2 years labor and a 5-year limited door warranty. Worth the extra cost in kitchens that run the oven all day.
- Standard depth (100) or bakery depth (200): bakery depth takes 18" x 26" sheet pans left to right or front to back; standard depth takes them left to right and needs less floor depth.
- Stacking: a double stack doubles capacity on the same floor space. Buy an ADDL section to stack on an oven you already have.
Boiler or boilerless combi?
A boiler combi (Invoq B models, BCX-14, BC-20) makes steam in a separate boiler, which gives more steam for steaming vegetables and large batches but needs more water treatment and descaling. A boilerless combi (Invoq BL models, BX-14, BLCT) injects water into the cavity: less upkeep and a lower price, with less steam output. Size by pans: BLCT mini combis hold 5 or 10 hotel pans, Invoq 6 and 10-rack models fit most restaurants, and 20-rack roll-ins and the BC-20 suit banquets and hospitals.
Is Blodgett a good oven brand?
Blodgett has made ovens in Vermont for more than 175 years, and its premium convection and deck ovens carry long warranties: 3 years parts and 2 years labor on DFG and Mark V, and a 5-year limited door warranty on most convection and deck ovens. Parts and service providers are listed nationwide.
The trade-offs: warranty length depends on the line (1 year on combis, Hydrovection and CNVX models), Invoq terms depend on the purchase agreement, and the premium lines cost well over a Zephaire.
Blodgett vs Vulcan, Southbend, Bakers Pride and Rational
People most often compare Blodgett with Vulcan and Southbend for convection ovens, Bakers Pride for deck and pizza ovens, and Rational for combis. Compare warranty (parts, labor, door), depth, gas input or kW and phase, stacking, and for combis boiler or boilerless steam. We carry these brands too, so a specialist can price two ovens side by side.

Blodgett FAQ
What warranty does a Blodgett oven have?
It depends on the line. According to Blodgett's spec sheets, DFG and Mark V convection ovens carry 3 years parts and 2 years labor, Zephaire 2 years parts and labor, 900 series deck and pizza ovens 2 years parts and 1 year labor, with a 3 or 5-year limited door warranty. Combis, Hydrovection and ImVection ovens carry 1 year parts and labor.
What is the Blodgett warranty or service phone number?
Blodgett's main number is 802-658-6600, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern. Press 4 for technical service, 3 for parts and 2 for customer service, or email service@blodgett.com. Have the model and serial number from the data plate ready. If you bought from Atlantic, call 201-467-8222 for your invoice.
Who makes Blodgett ovens and where are they made?
Blodgett is based in Essex Junction, Vermont, and is part of the Middleby family of brands. According to Blodgett, the company dates to 1848 and has built ovens in Vermont since then. The Sveba Dahlen pizza ovens we list are made by Sveba Dahlen AB and distributed in North America by Blodgett.
What is the difference between Blodgett Zephaire and DFG?
Both are 38" full-size convection ovens for 5 sheet pans per section. Zephaire costs less and carries 2 years parts and labor with a 3-year door warranty. The DFG (gas) and its electric sibling, the Mark V, are Blodgett's premium ovens with 3 years parts, 2 years labor and a 5-year limited door warranty.
Is a Blodgett convection oven gas or electric?
Both. Zephaire comes as ZEPH-E (electric, 11 kW, 208-480V) or ZEPH-G (gas), DFG is gas and Mark V is electric. Gas models still need a 115V outlet for the fan and controls. Electric models need the voltage and phase you order, so check your panel before you buy.
Which Blodgett ovens are ventless?
Blodgett sells the BLCT-6E-H and BLCT-10E-H mini combis with the Hoodini hood, Invoq Hoodini models and the IMV3E and IMV4E ImVection ovens as ventless. The ImVection spec sheet states UL (KNLZ) listing for ventless operation. Your local inspector has the final say, so confirm before you remove a hood from the plan.
Can I add a second Blodgett oven on top of the one I have?
Usually, yes. Blodgett sells ADDL (add-on) sections for Zephaire, DFG, Mark V, CTB, BX-14 and deck ovens, built to stack on an existing oven of the same series. BASE is the oven section alone, for replacing a worn section. Tell us your current model and serial number and we will confirm the match.
Does Atlantic offer free shipping on Blodgett?
